Since 1983, Dwight Nelson has served as lead pastor of the Pioneer Memorial Church on the campus of Andrews University. He preaches on the “New Perceptions” telecast, teaches at the theological seminary and has written some books, including The Chosen. He and his wife, Karen, are blessed with two married children and one granddaughter.

Electronics Recycling Event

Recycle your unwanted electronic items! Accepted items include computers, laptops, smart phones, monitors, TVs, telephones, cameras, DVD players, cords/ cables, printers, toner cartridges, cell phones, refrigerators, air conditioners, appliances, and any other electronic items or items with a cord. A hazardous waste fee will be collected for ALL monitors and TVs. All other items are recycled free of charge.

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed for the Michigan Community Services for the Blind Tandem Bikers Ride (July 31-August 6). We need consolers, bike captains, van drivers, sighted guides, janitors, and helpers in the kitchen. If you can help, contact Larry Hubbell ((248) 459-3165 or (248)634-4379). We also need a couple of drivers to help us drive blind campers to Wakonda Blind Camp in Wisconsin from June 28 to July 2-2017. If you can't volunteer and would like to help by giving a donation, make out your check to Michigan Conferance and put it in a tithe envelope, marked Blind Camp. AU Wind Symphony Spring Concert

The AU Wind Symphony, directed by Alan Mitchell, will present their annual spring concert. This will be the last concert directed by Alan Mitchell; after directing the ensemble for nearly three decades, Mitchell will enter retirement this summer. They will perform “Fanfare for the Common Man” by Aaron Copland, “Overture to Candide” by Leonard Bernstein, “Irish Tune from County Derry” by Percy Granger, and many more. Pathfinder Bible Experience

The final PBE meet of the year is happening today in the Chicago area. Your PMC team is gathered with over 75 teams from across the country, Canada,  and England, and are having their final  test this morning. Please pray that God's Spirit give them quick minds and peace, and that the blessing of God's word stay with these kids as they complete this year's journey. They have worked hard studying Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and 1 & 2 Timothy.
